Abstract
The book includes three studies in semantic analysis of Communist language: The People, Democracy, Socialism (1978), The Fairy Tale on Staline (1980), The Mirror of Communist Discourse (1989). This new edition is provided with a text supplement, containing some of the principal sources which were most frequently quoted from in the book, and with an index of selected key terms used in Communist language as well as in the analytic metalanguage of author's explanations.
