Abstract
On the 13th and 14th March 2017 the 52nd conference "Essener Gespräche zum Thema Staat und Kirche", organised by the Catholic Bishopric in Essen, took place at the Wolfsburg Catholic Academy in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany. This year's theme was Global Human Rights and the Spread of the Christian Message.
