Abstract
The paper analysis two decisions of the European Court of Justice from November 2016 where the interpretation of terms "emmissions into the environment" and "information relating to emissions into the environment" used by the EC Directive 2004/4 was given. The paper inserts this new case law and the specification provided by into the context of international environmental legal acts as well as of the Czech Act No 123/1996 Coll. on the right to environmental information.
