Abstract
The repost contains the results of histological analysis performed on request of the Contipro company and testing their biomaterials supporting the healing of small intestine anastomoses. Microscopical analysis of six tissue blocks is provided.
It was done using overall staining methods as well as specific detection of collagen, glycosaminoglycans, smooth muscle actin, endothelium of blood capillaries, and tissue macrophages. In all samples, the anastomosis was well healied and the scard were not weakened by having incomplete layers of the intestine wall.
