Histological assessment of renal artery and adjacent nerves 10 days after renal denervation in 12 sheep (samples M1-M6 and B1-B6, 10-11)
Abstract
We performed a histological analysis to compare the effect of two types of catheters used for renal denervations in sheep. 10 days after the intervention, the damage to the wall of renal artery and the damage to the surrounding adrenergic nerves was assessed using a semiquantitative scoring system.
