Abstrakt
This study offers a critical edition of the Old Slavonic fragments of Arius's Thalia quoted by Athanasius of Alexandria in his Oration against the Arians 1.5-6. It represents a small part of a much larger project aimed at producing the critical edition of all Orations of Athanasius, and therefore the introductory remarks here are limited to only a few major points.
Most of the space is given to the actual text of Arius' Thalia along with the critical apparatus and English translation. Given the lack of awareness about the Old Slavonic Athanasius, this study seeks to raise the level of this knowledge among patristic scholars and make available the material that has never been published before.
