The author of the paper focuses on the way project-based education is presented in two information resources for teachers in the Czech Republic - journal "Biologie, chemie, zemepis (Biology, Chemistry, Geography)" and Methodical Portal RVP. cz. In the analyzed text a well-known trend of identifi cation of an activity as a project without respecting basic criteria of project-based education proved.
This points out that the fashionable identifi cation - project -has been used without suffi cient understanding, the less so application of the principles which make project-based education the most complex and efficient approach not only in Science education.
