Abstract
The publication presents a summary of the most important and interesting documents about the history of Bohemian Chicago, and thus emigration to the USA. Since the history of the Czechs in Chicago has not yet been systematically processed, a comprehensive historical introduction is part of the book.
The edited documents are divided into thematic units and included in the broader historical context.
