The paper deals with the activity of the catholic priest, philosopher and the main ideologist of the regime of the Slovak People's Party Stefan Polakovic (1912-1998) in the field of the Office of Propaganda, where he worked as a head of the Printing Department and as an assistant of the director of the Office of Propaganda Tido Gaspar. It will bring closer not only an activity of an extremely controversial personality (figure) of slovak historiography but also functioning of the institution which should regulate mass media in the spirit of state ideology.
This research problem didn't get a lot of attention in contemporary history.
