The aim of this work is to describe the social change of the noble actor in the period of social modernization in the 19th century in Bohemia on the example of two generations of members of the Harrach family of the Jilemnice branch. The core of the work is therefore the typology of different types of representations that may overlap and which have been identified on the basis of concrete public activities of noble actors in the field of building, business, political and patronage activities.
