The study focuses on repatriation and re-emigration processes taking place from 1945 to 1946 into Czechoslovakia. Based on the events associated with the development during the war and based on the Košice Government Programme and Edvard Beneš's presidential decrees, the main task of the Ministry of the Interior in the repatriation and re-emigration proces was still granting of Czechoslovak citizenship.
This was accompanied by issuance of certificates of national and political reliability.
