Abstract
India commemorated the 70th anniversary of independence recently. However, there are not too many reasons to celebrate.
The country established by campaigners against racism and cultural supremacy is nowadays ruled by religious radicals, with attacks not only against Muslims or Dalits but also on foreigners from African countries occuring on daily basis.
