Abstract
The article discusses in detail the constitutional context of the government crisis of spring 2017, especially in relation to the negotiations of the President of the Republic Milos Zeman. Namely, attention is paid to the resignation of the Prime Minister, such as the demise of the government and the duty of the President to withdraw a member of the Government, if proposed by the Prime Minister.
From a procedural point of view, the possibility of a dispute between the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister is examined in more detail.
