Abstract
The publication deals with history of the Ministry of Agriculture of the First Czechoslovak Republic. The work outlines its formation, administrative procedures and subsequent years of its existence.
The structure respects a thematic-chronological view with an emphasis on the most important events and phenomena. A development of the organizational structure of the ministry including its competencies is introduced and the ministerial agenda is analysed.
The book is also supplemented with medallions of individual ministers and offers an evaluation of their activities.
