Abstract
This article is about the conversion of the former trade bank on Na Příkopě street from the architect Bedřich Bendelmayer from 1927-1933 to a shopping mall. I show the clash of interests in this case.
The author of the conversion (architect Malínský) is the chairman of the heritage board of experts, an advice authority of the heritage department of the Prague municipality, which gave a positive opinion for approval of the reconstruction of the former bank.
