Abstract
The main aim of the poster is to document the development of fertility in the Czechia from 1950 to 2013 using decomposition methods. These methods provide a deeper view on the changes of fertility.
The study explains the changes of fertility level based on differences in marital status structure, differences in birth order and timing of reproduction. As the results show, the importance of individual effects in selected years was changing.
This work is based on author's diploma thesis "The development of the birth rate and preschool education in the Czech Republic after 1950".
