The poverty as a social problem in post-communist countries began to be an important in social and economic sciences at the geginning of the nineties. In the Czech Republic, the poverty is a social problem, which includes both types of polarizing types: objectives poverty (mostly income poverty) andsubjective (emotional poverty).
Deprivation in the context of our project means a limited opportunity to achieve the living standard, to reach the average standard of living in the Czech Republic within threats of social marginalization or social exlusion.
