Abstract
Indications for ureteral reimplantation (ureterocystoneostomy = UCN) include ureteric strictures of various etiology (due to iatrogenic injuries, endometriosis, post radiotherapy etc.), fistulas from ureter into various organs or ureteral trauma. There are a number of modifications, which can be carried out via open or minimally invasive approach (laparoscopic or robot-assisted).
Minimally invasive (MI) approach can achieve a good result with decreased perioperative morbidity in many cases.
