The article deals with the conditions that the headmasters of the Czech elementary schools have for their work. It is working with the results of the pilot comparative survey, which was used as a basis for the preparation of a nationwide survey, which the author will carry out at the end of 2017 in co-operation with the Czech School Inspectorate.
Respondents in the form of keywords uncover the basic pitfalls of the current form of setting up the school head and help the authors of the next survey to optimize the form of questioning.
