The autor represents a set of illustrations preserved in the entertaining prose Sumovní kronika velmi pěkná o silném rohovém Saifrídovi, which was printed in 1615 by Mikuláš Štraus in Prague. It concludes that the illustrations were made by three wood print engravers and the most advanced illustrations were made by well-known draughtsman and wood print engraver Jan Willenberg.
The attention to detail, well-thought dynamic composition and incorporation of thoroughly drawn city as the backstage of the main scene characterize this group. No one has attempted to search and evaluate Willenberg's illustrations yet, therefore this analysis helps to broaden the knowledge of his work for printers in Prague.
