Abstract
Gambling tax has been adopted as a part of the regulatory reform of gambling. The aim of the article is to highlight the nature of the gambling tax, its basic elements and the principles of its governance.
The issue of transitional provisions governing the transition from a levy on lotteries and other similar games on the gambling tax is also mentioned.
