The amendment to the Act on the Register of Contracts - interpretative issues of the so called business exception

Abstract
The author focused in his contribution on the amendment to the Act on the Register of Contracts implemented by the Act No. 249/2017 Coll. The amendment responded to the criticism of inconsistency of the previous wording of the act which did not sufficiently reflect the specific position of publicly owned companies.
The amendment introduced an exception for contracts concluded in the ordinary course of business whose interpretative issues were discussed by the author.
