Abstrakt
The story of Adam and Eve exists in Syriac and Arabic versions of the Cave of Treasures as well as in several Qur'anic fragments and in ḥadīth. Similar in idiom, motives, and general structure, the literary form and typology of characters serve different interpretations in the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic traditions.
