Abstract

The work is focused on a relationship between integrity and spirituality/religiosity. In the first study we compared relationships between the both variables in common population (N = 191) and we found low and insignificant association.

In the second study we compared two contrasting sets of participants in the degree of spirituality/religiosity. The first group consisted of participants with minimal score in Santa Clara Strength of Religious Faith Questionnaire (N = 60) defined in study as atheists.

The second group of participants were nuns and monks (N = 26) with high score in Santa Clara Strength of Religious Faith Questionnaire. The second study found significant differences.

The results are discussed in a light of the faith as a protective factor of integrity.
