The article presents the essence of historical comparatism and outlines the possibilities of its use firstly. Further, it pointed out its importance in Czech Constitutionalism, especially due to the role of the constitutional charter of 1920.
In the next part, the article outlined the basic consistencies and differences in the form and nature of the constitutions from 1867 and 1992. The conclusion is a "case study" that shows how the text and practice of The Decenber Constitution influenced the structure of parliament and the legislative delegation.
