This study presents a case of a patient with recurring defect of the left leg in originally not recognized diabetic neuropathy and insufficiently healed type 2 diabetes mellitus. The study confirms a well-known fact that the diabetic neuropathy as a chronical complication of diabetes mellitus might develop also in combination of apparently reasonable levels of "hungry" glycaemia.
The study also verifies the importance of the type 2 diabetes healing of a patient whose "hungry" glycaemia seemed acceptable to the practitioner who was healing the diabetes only through diabetic diet.
