Abstract
Case study on implementation of citizenship education in the Czech Republic. Top down as well as bottom up proces were integrated and analysed.
Case study was part of a large project running in all EU countries. Its results were introduced and accepted in European Parliament in 2017.
The study shows that the implementation on the level of policy is prepared adequatelly, but there are some gaps in its implementation. The potential is especiall in attitudes and concrete practices on the level of schools as well as general acceptance in wider societal context.
