Reform of student education and teacher training in the Czech Republic

Abstract

The subject of the article is analyzed with a focus on education in elementary schools and on training of teachers in primary schools. This reform is evaluated with the poor success, with reservations in the regulation and implementation of ideas, even though we can present a number of strong points and good practices.
