Abstract
The military pentathlon, along with the pentathlon and naval pentathlon, is one of the military sports covered by the CISM. This organization, bringing together more than 130 countries from around the world, organizes many competitions (including World Army Games or World Championships) in 25 other sports.
Parallels between military and sporting multiples and the possibilities of their use in the preparation of a soldier are identified.
