Abstract
The content of the oral tradition includes in particular a narration of the Lord's deeds, confrontation with the potential of the Lord's statements, and other social or spiritual values needed for the son's orientation and for the preservation or functioning of the whole community. The objective of the father's sharing of his faith with the son is to cause him to fear the Lord, initiate him in worshipping the Lord; in other words, the father cultivates the son's spiritual life.
