This monograph is a complex material describing assessment procedures and analyses of a battery of tests for the assessment of phonological awareness and phonological processes. It contains a brief theoretical introduction to the issue of the development of phoneme awareness and phonological processes in pre-school and early school age.
It also provides a detailed explanation of the administration procedures of a total of ten various tasks to assess the developmental level of phonemic awareness and phonological processes (eg, rapid naming). It also provides structured guidance for evaluation of a child performance in each of the tests included in the test battery.
It also contains statistical analyses - especially descriptive - as well as the results of the analysis of the factor validity of the evaluated constructs. A substantial part of the material create normative data for the use of the this material in psychological counselling practice.
