The Dark Green World: Radical Ecological Activities in the Czech Republic after 1989

Abstract

The book tries to contribute to the mapping and understanding of the dynamics of radically ecological activity in the Czech Republic between 1989 and 2010. It deals with a radical part of the Czech environmental movement and the process of its deradicalization during the 1990s.

In contrast to other works that focus more on formal organizations, the book focuses on more informal activist networks, local activism, or short-term mobilization.
