Gods with solar aspects in selected written and epigraphic sources of the Old Kingdom

Abstrakt

This study is based on an analysis of selected written sources of the Old Kingdom coming from the Memphite area: the Palermo Stone, papyri from Abusir, seal impressions and South Saqqara List. Furthermore, Gebelein papyri are also included, as a sample of provincial documents.

The paper provides us with interesting and significant information concerning various gods of solar religion.
