Abstract

Based on written sources, seals and coins, the author follows the origins and development of the ideology of the Czech state under the rule of the princes of the Přemysl dynasty. The foremost place was taken by the Czech saints, especially St.

Wenceslas, to whom St. Adalbert was admired at the beginning of the twenties, and Saint Prokop from the sixties of the 13th century.
