The contribution is devoted to the presentation of the person and work of Bulgarian Methodist preacher Simeon Popov between 1947 and 1949. Popov was the pastor of Vojvodovo Methodist congregation.
The Communist regime abruptly ended his work in the congregation in a show trial in which Popov received an almost eight-year sentence. The Report from missionary activities in Vojvodovo - a Czech village in Bulgaria serves as an initial point to outline the life career of this unusual man.
He himself wrote it in 1938 and it was recently discovered.
