The study is focused on the educational publications which were written for the lay public. Their aim was to instruct the broad lay public about the legal order and, at the same time, to give practical advice on application of the legal provisions in everyday life without the need to contact a legal counsellor.
The high incidence of such publications proves the high demand of the lay public after this type of educational literature. In the publications dating back to 1918-1938 the parts describing the Slovak conditions are highlighted.
