Abstract
First part of the article briefly summarizes the vast spectrum of theological attitudes towards revelation developed in the 20th century. The second part elaborates on revelation as a symbolic mediation (Dulles) and symbolic resonance (Korsmeyer).
These principles introduce the third and the last part of this study suggesting a theological turn in theology, which must be the turn towards fundamental theology and consequently also towards revelation.
