The map sheet focuses on the analysis of crime differentiation in the Czech Republic at various scales, for which data are currently available, ie regions, districts, police districts. The level of crime is monitored in the development, namely in three time slots reflecting three different periods of crime development, the transformation period with the increase in crime (1994-1997), the period after the peak of crime (2002-2005) and the period following the post-economic crisis and amnesty (2013-2015).
Emphasis is placed on differences in overall crime, but also on the differentiation of three types of crime, property, violence and economic. The accompanying text then focuses on basic variance statistics to capture the differences in crime development at different scale levels.
