Abstract

Chapter deals with the impact of drug innovations on human identity. Linking economic interests with the creation of knowledge, provision of care, and the creation of expectations is a challenging task for contemporary sociology of current healthcare systems.

The chapter also proves the impact of institutional frameworks on the development of commodification in the healthcare system.
