Abstract

The paper deals with application of impulses of creative and critical thinking on facilitation of academic writing development with the emphasis on employment of writing pedagogic approach called process writing. The text includes an analysis of student writing and their drawbacks and suggests using other classroom practices such as mind maps and SWOT analyses which focus on development of creativity and critical writing.

These results indicate improvements both in the content and the structural part of students essays including stylistic properties
