Abstrakt
The chapter Discourse-theoretical analysis (DTA) is a part of The Routledge Handbook of Critical Discourse Studies. This book offers a state-of-the-art overview of the important and rapidly developing field of Critical Discourse Studies (CDS).
The chapter shows the theoretical elegance and analytical strength of one of the methods in the CDS field, Discourse-theoretical analysis (DTA), which offers an in-depth analysis of the mechanics of discourses, their political nature and the struggles they generate. The chapter offers new fresh look at a well described method and it brings new possibilities for both theoretical analysing it and practical adaptation into research.
