Abstrakt
Current models of healthcare are unsustainable. This conclusion was reached by participants at the first major European Digestive Health Summit held in December 2016 Public Affairs Committee (PAC), which is responsible for raising awareness of digestive diseases among specialists and decision-makers at the European level.
Area of particular importance for primary care in gastroenterology are functional gastrointestinal disorders, chronic gastrointestinal diseases and colorectal cancer screening.
