Abstract
The study presents Matthias Korambus firstly as a doctor of the University of Basel and "grecist". But mainly we introduces Korambus as a priest, the administrator of the church "sub utraque specie", the master and the abbot.
Attention is also devoted to his activities durings the religious uprisinig of the twenties of the 16th. century.
