Introduction to Literary Studies at the Faculty of Education, or "There is too much literature!"

Abstract

This article describes how the subject "Introduction to German literature" is conducted at the Department of German Studies at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. It discusses the role of analysis of foreign-language texts in university education and presents issues that arise in connection with the use of the moodle e-learning environment and new technologies.
