Abstract
The book consists of the texts which the author created in the past ten years while dealing critically with various statements and acts of some politicians (e. g. Miloš Zeman and Václav Klaus) and with various cases, such as the case of the Faculty of Law at the West Bohemian University in Pilsen, Klaus's amnesty or the cases connected with the Prague City Hall.
Thus, philosophical reflections of (not only) the Czech politics are interconnected with the authors personal account of events and cases which he experienced or was involved in. As a result, the book as a whole presents a telling document of the recent period of the post-89 Czech democracy.
