Th ere are numerous ethical questions in research involving people with intellectual disabilities, given that people with this disability constitute MINUS SIGN due to problems with decision-making and inadequate knowledge about their own rights MINUS SIGN a vulnerable population. Th is article adds to a body of research about practical aspects of research conducted with people with intellectual disabilities.
It aims to assist researchers, and undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students, in achieving the highest quality research practice and more involvement of people with intellectual disabilities in research.
