Abstract
How to explain to the students how to write their MA thesis about interpreting theory and practice - this is the main idea of this article. The author explains different methods of research and the choice of the topics (theoretical, empirical / experimental studies) and gives concrete examples of MA thesis at the Institute of Translation Studies, Charles University.
