Abstract
During the presentation of her first novel in Morocco, French-Moroccan writer Leïla Slimani has heard dozens of stories about a society in which a woman is either virgin or married. Everything that happens outside of law or marriage is denied.
From these stories, the essayist Sexe et mensonges (Sex and Lies) was created.
