Abstract

A review on an exhibition in the Western Bohemian Gallery in Plzeň (and on an accompanying publication) which for the first time systematically presented works of the portraitist, representative of the Czech academic painting from the period before the second world war and one of the most excellent Czech caricaturists Hugo Boettinger.
