Abstract
The conference focused on all the historical, artistic and cultural aspects of these gardens. The chosen timing suggests that one of the objectives was to map out the starting point of this phenomenon before its peak period, which begins the garden of the Troja summerhouse, until its appearance at the very end of the 18th century, in the second half of which there is a series of fundamental changes.
They touch both the new elements that enter these gardens and, above all, the overall understanding of their role and the ideal form.
